Has anyone been watching this season of 24? What do you think of it?
Love that show!! There is the main plot and so many sub-plots to follow with many twists and turns that totally catch you off guard. The acting is good also. I'm hooked on the show which is rare because I normally only follow sports, CNN/FOX News/ Food Network/ History channel, etc. We need to get Jack Bauer in Iraq and Afganistan.

I don't think the series has been great since President Palmer was involved in the series. I also wonder if the female president now was a presumption that Hillary Clinton would win the presidency. They are both very similar looking and talking.
I love the show and haven't missed an episode but it's not as good as it used to be.
Oh, and everytime I see Chloe now, I can't but think of her as anything but the "snail" from Always Sunny now...

Ive been an avid viewer but something about this season has failed to snag me. I did manage to catch tonights episode. I think it's lost the intensity it once had.

I watch it every season, but my biggest questions are: when do they eat or go to the bathroom? I don't know about anybody else on this site, but at least going to the bathroom is a must for me in any given 24 hours!

I love the show but its time to end the series. Too many recycled stories, CTU gets compromised, someone on the inside is working for the terrorist, blah blah blah.

It was a great show but they're out of ideas. They've had a good run.

Like, CTU gets hit with a bomb and has 6 in. of water in the basement, and there's a parole officer inside the building wanting to see someone at 4 a.m.

Yeah, i have always been a big fan, and have spent weeks looking forward to the new season whenever December/January rolls around. This year, however, the show seems dangerously close to 'jumping the shark'. I rolled my eyes twice last night. Once, when that idiot parole officer keeps somehow wandering around CTU during a crisis, and the second time when Dana was revealed as the mole. Seriously, how many seasons have they done the 'mole inside CTU' bit?

I hope they pick it up from here and finish the year strong, but for the first time I am starting to lose excitement about the show.

Have to wait for it to come out on DVD. Watching any show on tv sucks. Unfortunately, I couldn't wait for Lost to come out on dvd.

I think over recycled is spot on. You forgot having Jack go out on the lamb at some point.

Exactly. Last season they seemed to be taking it in a new direction (not having CTU, the whole Africa storyline, etc.), but now they've just gone back to cramming in as many cliches as they can from the first six seasons. They really do need to end it.

I cannot stand the stupid blonde CTU agent this season with the ex-bf who was blackmailing her. I absolutely hate her character.

Oh JFC, I haven't watched last nights episode yet.

And she killed the parole officer and stuffed his body in a wall.

One of the most far-reaching aspects of the show to me has been the apparent absolute lack of tracking/recording/listening in on the cell phone calls from and to those in the CTU building.

I just don't give a **** about the Dana Walsh side story.... it's just annoying. Also, if she was involved with the terrorists, why didn't she just have them go kill this Kevin ex boyfriend guy? That was she didn't have to leave for like two hours of the day? Bull ****...

And HOW did she get a job, if she's actually some high school killer girl who "turned her life around" and now has a false identity? CTU doesn't do background checks? My job does background checks and we make caskets....

I have watched "24" since its first season way back when, and while I still think it's better than 75% of the other shows on TV, it has definitely lost something recently and it can feel a bit tired and stale.

I have seen talk about it moving to NBC after this season, or possibly ending the series and making some "24" movies, which I think would be cool. I wouldn't be too heartbroken if they end it after this season, as I think it has peaked in quality.

On another note, are there any other Battlestar Galactica fans who are also "24" fans? I think it's interesting how much different her "24" character is from Starbuck.

The Dana Walsh subplot was infuriating. Every time it looked like they were going to finally end it, they would somehow keep dragging it back up. That parole officer going to CTU at 3 in the morning because he was so concerned about her boyfriend was ******* absurd.
