I haven't read through this whole thread but I find the fact that Mike Tomlin is on Carson Palmer's wish list interesting as Mike Tomlin has no ties to USC. Grew up in Virginia, Went to William & Mary and has pretty much coached in the NFL ever since.
He's just 49, I forgot how young he was when The Steelers hired him.

It seems ownership has always been content to allow the people they hired to run the team to do just that.I'm no Steelers fan, but always thought that aspect is cool. Refreshing, in a way.
