Remember your excitenent when she becomes a teen. It's a girl!
Need shells. Need the ability to shoot out a tire if you need to.Time to invest in a good shotgun. No need for the shells; just the ability to disassemble, clean, and assemble it in front of whichever boys she brings home.
Don't be afraid to tell people they have to wait to visit. Sometimes the initial bombardment is too much. It's a girl!

Individuals vary. I love my children and have likely been more fortunate than many. But it is known that some teenage girls are capable of being the meanest things in the universe under the right circumstances.Maybe. But my little girls are significantly easier than my boy. I've expected that to change each year and it hasn't yet. Don't think it will at this point either.
I've said that before although not sure I have on CF. I have 2 daughters and in about 5 years it will get interesting around here when she's into boys and dad is going to be skeptical of them all knowing how teenage boys brains work! Don't even want to think about what weddings will cost eventually too.Congrats! There's nothing like having a baby girl to love and watch over.
On a lighter note, someone in another thread said that when you have a son, you only have one penis to worry about, but when you have a daughter, you have hundreds of penises to worry about.
Got 10 inches

I got 2 as well, not looking forward to the next 10 years.I've said that before although not sure I have on CF. Congrats and enjoy fatherhood. We may joke and complain about stuff from time to time but kids are such a blessing. Three hours of labor is pretty good. Our first child my wife was in labor for 20 before they finally decided it was time for a C section. That was a fun night, i had barely been in bed for maybe 10 minutes then the wife abruptly wakws up and says she is pretty sure her water just broke. Late night trip to the hospital and trying to sneak in some naps while I could during the long day of labor. The 2nd one we had a scheduled C section then 10 days later she became anemic and had to spend a night in the hospital getting blood and iron transfusions. Glad we already knew we were stopping at 2 kids after going through that.
