Bad enough that he didn't catch it. Patting it 15 feet in the air almost guaranteed an interception. Cyclone move by the commanders by jumping on 3rd and short.

With Washington's ball control offense, the 49ers will probably only get around 4 possessions in the 2nd half, so that's gonna put a lot of pressure on Purdy. 49ers defense has to figure things out because it looks like they've been reading their own press clippings.

The Washington qb has been pretty impressive so far. The 49ers pass defense has been lost a few times. They didn't have anyone covered on that td pass.
