4th of July Conundrum...

What is everyone planning on doing for the 4th of July this year? Being that it lands on a Wednesday?

Independence day hasn't landed on a Wednesday since I have cared, lol. I'm used to having a long weekend camping, etc, etc..but don't have the vacation to take off 2 extra days!

Do most people camp the weekend before or after?

I plan to camp at work until my boss gets fed up and sends me home.

Take vacation Monday and Tuesday.
Drink too much and light off fireworks, injure yourself on Wednesday.
Call in sick on Thursday and Friday to recover from the somewhat self-inflicted injury.

I'm just saying what everyone else would say. I'm just saying it first.

I'm camping from the Saturday before through the 4th. I would guess that the weekend after would be busier, but I'm just guessing.

I've taken off Tuesday through Friday for work already, with the only reason I'm going in Monday is to tell all the people around the nation I'll be out of town for the rest of the week.

Going up to a buddy's lakehouse after work Monday and will be there through Sunday night.
