She played but was not on the floor to start the 2nd half. No clue why, but she looked great when she was in there. Once she came out of the locker room she immediatly went into the game.

She just came out late. She did play and nothing seemed wrong.
Fun sight! I saw Morgan Kane at the game
Kenzie warmed up aside the team for most of the time, and only came in starting Q2. Wonder what that is about, she didn’t seem to have a noticeable issue.
PG future is good! And I’m betting this could be our starting 5 at least half the games this year.

A Willy is a baller & will be a good sub for Audi until LT is good to go.
Hansford was cold tonight. She’ll be fine though. That left hand shot looks weird the first few times you see it.
Hare came in later than the others but by late game she was looking good.
Wilson is quick and appears to want to play FAST. She will be a great PG.
Tanke looked good and will settle in well.
All the new players will be great additions once everyone has a few games in and know how to play off each other better in actual games.
The returners were all what you expect. Kelsey got the start and played like the Energizer Bunny she is. Missed a few shots, but otherwise what you expect.
Overall, Central didn’t even try to make a game of it early and that was kind of a downer. Kinda sucked some energy out maybe. ISU will have some growth issues as they all learn each others style, but by Big 12, I expect this team to be a contender.
Edit to say I forgot Harris. She played well, but maybe is a little under the radar, hence my forgetfulness.

Hard to know what you are watching with a win like this My takeaways unconfirmed by following up with stats. 22 Reagan Wilson is fiesty, she should be fun to watch. 3 Alisa Williams will help in the paint. All the newcomers showed tenacity and a short memory after a missed shot.
I think it was just under 5 minutes in the 3rd when 4 newbies and Addy really cranked up the D for a bit, it was upfront enough to remind you of the men, if remembering correctly got knocked out of bounds T.O. by Central then after the T.O. Addy huddled up the girls again to make sure they knew what to do. Can't remember just how it ended, but it was fun to see the intensity and leadership by Addy.
Complaints our free throw shooting in the 1st half was icy cold.

Thanks for the recap everyone. I had an issue come up at the very last millisecond and had to miss the game.

“She’s on a pitch count – her and Emily Ryan both are,” coach Bill Fennelly said. “It’s what the smart people say ‘a return to play protocol.’ They’ll both play, but they’ll be limited. If it was a regular season game, they would still be limited.”
Also the BB team did a line dance at the end of the game at center court all seemed to be having fun, so I would say team chemistry is good. If anyone at the game happened to record it please post.
Could this be a new post-game tradition a la the Minnesota Lynx? That would be a fun way to wrap it up!

We only shot 3 free throws in the first half, we missed them all, but not sure you can really get a good take on shooting only three.
Apparently had something to do with reaching over line and touching ball on inbounds play

Once you get past Audi, Addy, and Emily, the rest of the roster appears pretty similar talent wise. Going into the season I kind of assumed the freshman would be at the end of the bench, but they look good. Bill is going to have some difficult decisions concerning his rotation. I wonder if it will change based on the opponent and/or based on who has a hot hand. Great to have so much depth.
I bet you’re right…diff lineups for diff situations/opponents.
