Crazy good deal, but it confirms that the end zone is not getting filled, and this will result in more black and gold in the stadium. They can watch their two favorite teams play (purple iowa and iowa). Although, they are not exactly pumped for football either, so maybe not.

I remember a few short years ago it was tough to get into those rivalry games, and now you can go to each for pretty cheap. Interest in football at an all-time low in the state of Iowa?

That's pretty good "bang for your buck" with two rivalry games. Even if the teams aren't hyped, people still love rivalries. Too bad for the lack of endzone interest, though.

Actually if you look at the seating diagram for available tickets there are under 1000 left in the new sections total. It isn't as dire as some will make it out to be.

I don't think anybody realistically thought we would sell out all seats in the new endzone. That would be a huge task. The bigger agenda is to try to sell out the UNI and EIU game (and to sell as many as possible without selling single game tickets to the general public). I hope it works.

Also, we have a few extra really good season tickets in the new endzone corner. If you are interested, send me a PM.

It's really a fantastic slate of home games this year. The only thing tempering enthusiasm is, of course, the team itself.

UNI, season opener
Iowa, Cy-Hawk rivalry
Kansas, very winnable conference opener
TCU, will likely be ranked top 5
Texas on Halloween
Oklahoma State

Should be great weather too. Some nice Bye weeks.

One thing to note as well is that the per game price on these are the same as or more (depending on upper or lower) than they are for the full season ticket. Still a very good deal considering the games involved, just not an indication of a dire ticket sales situation.

Anyone else get this to work? I just tried to see what is available and it keeps giving me an error.

Same here with the error message. Was wondering if it lets you pick your exact seats or not before deciding.

i've never heard of a mini pack that let you pick the seats. often times the seats are different for each game

It'll tell you what seats you'll be getting, but I don't believe you get to choose from what I can see.

As someone else mentioned, when you factor in the cost of a season ticket in these sections, it's not really all that great of deal on a per game basis.

Difference is you don't have to buy all 6 games.
