That's pretty good "bang for your buck" with two rivalry games. Even if the teams aren't hyped, people still love rivalries. Too bad for the lack of endzone interest, though.

Probably the only P5 team with an FCS Rival... I really wish people would stop considering that a rivalry for football... it is sad.

As someone else mentioned, when you factor in the cost of a season ticket in these sections, it's not really all that great of deal on a per game basis.

Difference is you don't have to buy all 6 games.

You get to buy the 2 games with the highest demand for tickets, plus you get to pick one other. And if the team stinks, you can buy dirt cheap tickets for the last few games. It's a great deal, IMO.

I was more referring to just drawing UNI and UI fans into JTS, not necessarily looking into the full scheme of things. I should've said "inter-state rivalry".

It'll tell you what seats you'll be getting, but I don't believe you get to choose from what I can see.

This is correct. It gives me rows 26 and 27 for the upper deck package, which is I believe is as high as it gets up there. Giving rows 23 and 25 for the lowers, which might not be bad.

On the fence with it right now. Question is whether you can get into the same 3 games for less using Stubhub and/or Jack Trice scalping. Already seeing Stubhub's prices going down based on today's announcement and it will take another dip I imagine when singles go on sale.

So $33/seat to sit in the upper SEZ? Doesn't seem a great deal.

Probably the only other way to get iowa game tickets at this point unless you buy them on the secondary market. In that case, its a better deal than that.

Wow, people really like to complain about everything involving football lately.

This is a damn good deal.

I bought a couple for me and the Mrs.

Besides September 27th what are the other bye weeks?

I was thinking the final week of the regular season. Last year we played TCU in December. We don't have a December game this year, thank God.

We don't play a home game the final 3 weeks of the season. That's a good thing.

I'm betting these will go fast. I bought 5 today and the options were pretty high up in the upper deck.

You better hurry cyclone fans. :)

Any idea if you go to ticket office directly if the fee is reduced on purchase?

Given that iowa never used to be included in a mini-pack, and that the Iowa game used to be offered as a single to donors\season ticketholders first, instead of just open to the general public, it seems like a benefit was taken away from donors here, and hawks\panthers will benefit.

I'm surprised at the people choosing Texas over TCU. I guess Texas is homecoming which does make sense.

I went for possibly watching the national title contender vs a 5-0 isu. :) Game day in Ames? Don't say never.

Just bought a pair. UNI and Iowa game were worth it alone. Texas was a bonus.

Bingo. Gotta go back for Homecoming to see the Greek Festivities and other events taking place on campus.

Plus, I'm going to Baylor/TCU at the end of the season so I'll get a good dose of the Bears and Horned Frogs.

Why would it be? I believe they're trying to get away from that as much as possible.
Worth a try, but I don't see why they would reduce prices just to make things harder on themselves.
WHOA, just asking.....................why respond that way? That is what makes this great site difficult at times.
