Does anyone think that Fred should show a little emotion? I know this has been touched on here and there but I can hardly stand to watch him acting like we're up by 20. Some will say it's not his style but it sure frustrates the heck out of me. Oh well. Go. clones

It's not just not his coaching style, it's not who he is. He isn't that type of coach. He goes absolutely ape **** on the players in practice, but not on the court. He likes presenting himself to the public in a professional manner.

Last year he showed emotion and tapped someone in the chest and then we had his anger management threads lol

I have always loved that Fred is NOT Fran and totally goes banana sandwich everytime 1 little thing doesn't go his way but sometimes 20 year-old kids need a good yelling at...

He also avoids outbursts due to his heart condition. I think with that concern, he just came into the gig having decided that's the attitude he's going to carry for both his health and other reasons.

I would like Fred to sit Korie and Clyburn down for the rest of the game when they play lackadaisical and selfish. We might lose but at least the other players in there would pay with some heart.

Fred is being out coached too, how about some press to jump start things? Reign in the 3s some. Push the ball after made baskets. Common Fred, you can't just game plan for the big ones

There are a lot of things to complain about tonight but in my opinion this is definitely not one of them.

I know Fred can't get too worked up, but our guys needed a Larry Eustachy style screaming at tonight. That's the most pathetic effort I've seen Hoiberg's teams put forward.

Id rather him call a timeout here and there when ISU is flat out sucking. No way, in that game, we should of had 3 timeouts left with 3 minutes left.

I don't think he can with his heart condition.

He has said multiple times that his emotions/reactions on the side lines are not hindered by his heart condition. Do you really think he would be coaching if his heart condition was that sensitive?

You know Fred is boiling underneath though....If Fred didn't have a heart condition I think he'd be exactly like Floyd and LE.
