I am actually really happy that Toledo game was on the radio last year. It was a lot easier to take without having to actually see it.

I was in Minneapolis for this game at a sports bar that just happened to be the Hawks game watch against the Badgers that night so I had to watch the scroll on the bottom of ESPN for this. But seriously what are the odds that would happen? It was fun to give the Hawk fans crap and I jetted right before we blew it down our leg, thank goodness.

I feel a lot better after watching that. Congratulations to SDSU on that victory and the success their program has been having, but I really don't see how they are going to be able to compete physically with ISU.

If they win the turnover battle like UNI has the last 2 years, they've got a shot.

If not, we should win easily.

With their small size, I expect them to be a pretty fast team. Let's hope we can put some pressure on their quarterback and can defend well.

Not sure what to think. We lost a lot of skill players just as they did. Have they ever played a division 1 team like us and won?

Is it annoying to anyone else that the Maine outlook thread has as many posts as this one?

Anyways, keep up the good analysis. I like going into the game knowing what to look for and who to keep an eye on.

And..... the SDSU forum I visited was almost hilarious. Something like 15 vs. 8 predicted a SDSU win. I can't blame them for the optimism but there is a difference between D-1 and D-1AA teams for a reason.

We need to come out from the kickoff and prove why there is a difference. (and I really don't want to eat crow)

Everyone on the SDSU fan site thinks that if it's a game in the 4th quarter that SDSU will have the advantage and by a long shot.

Comical in my opinion. You are on the road against a BCS conference school. I don't care what you did against NDSU last year. Chizik has installed more confidence in these guys than that.

I could easily see a 4th quarter game... but I think that plays right into our hands.

I would hope that ISU doesn't have 5 TOs and covers punts better than NDSU did in this game. The SDSU recievers made a lot of nice catches, but both the teams in the video looked like 4a HS teams. I will be very disappointed if the clones can't just wear SDSU down by running straight at them. Even though the ISU OL doesn't have a ton of senior, they are experienced and have a whole year in a great weight program.

Probably true. I was actually at the game, so I witnessed the 4th quarter debacle, and I could have done without witnessing it first hand.
