I'll be in DC for work Wednesday and looking for a place to catch the game, if possible. I'm staying at the Courtyard Washington between the Capital and Washington Navy Yard. Any place to catch the game nearby?

Not sure if there's a gamewatch at Crystal City Sports Pub or not, but that's not quite 'nearby' anyway. I used to live a block from there and it always had some clones watching the games even if it wasn't a big game. If it were football, it'd be a little more interesting given all the WVU alums around.

I'd maybe suggest Pour House - it's a decent sports bar and i'm sure they'll have a few tvs with the game on at least - considering the opponent. It's a few blocks from the library of congress and a few blocks from capitol south metro. Wouldn't suggest walking from your hotel, but plenty of cabs will be around that area at any time of day/night. should be a pretty small fare. The Pour House Bar & Restaurant: Home

When I was in DC this fall we ate at a place called Elephant and Castle and they had an ISU poster hanging behind the hostess station. They told me that the Cyclone Club would come there and watch games. It's pretty close to the Mall.

Saw Elephant and Castle noted on the DC ISUAA site as a gamewatch location. Would they be able to a get a game on the Big 12 Network? Didn't know if there were some dish packages that could pull this in or not. This place is probably a half hour walk from my location.
