Ah, you just want a one sided discussion then.... No one's allowed to disagree with Bigman. I've stayed on topic, I don't see the problem.
Lol no you haven't. You just keep ******** about covid.

The rest of us are trying to figure out what the NFL's next step is and in what way this will affect the team. You're in the corner eating crayons with the other covid nutters (who are too afraid to use the actual cave to spread their political ********).

The conversation is not about the validity of the vaccines or the long-term life of the virus. It's about the fact that Aaron Rodgers blatantly violated his employer's policy and lied about it. You may think it's a terrible policy, but it's still the policy and he should be reprimanded for violating it. But he won't be.

Let’s not forget that it wasn’t just Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers knew about it and the NFL knew that he was not vaccinated. So how does the NFL punish Aaron Rodgers when they knew he lied about it from the beginning and let him break the rules?

Exactly. Both parties are independently guilty here to some degree. I'm curious which one sees more (or any) punishment.

The NFL does need to set an example here. We will see if the NFL is just as scared of it's stars as the NCAA is of the Blue bloods.

Rodgers will get a fine, but no suspension.
It'll be just another chapter in his post NFL Zen Diva Empowerment self help book.

Naw, shouldn't be reprimanded because it's a trash policy that makes no sense. I don't think I've even said anything about vaccine efficacy, other than maybe that it doesn't prevent infection or transmission. That's certainly relevant when discussing the merits of the policy that Aaron Rodgers violated.

This is crazy. An employer's rules/policies are not open for you to agree or disagree. For example, my employer allows 45 minutes for lunch. I think that's dumb and that I should get two hours. If I start taking two hours for my lunch because that's what I think is right, shouldn't there be consequences?

I have a huge issue with people who think they're above the rules just because they don't like the rules.

And in a case like this know they're going to be criticized so they lie to everyone/try to mislead everyone

Plus (and I this isn't an original thought), Aaron has spent the last off-season or two criticizing the packers for not doing enough to win now. Which may or may not be valid. But then he goes and does this which hurts the Packers chances of winning. Because even ignoring COVID, this is now a distraction that Packers have to deal with and that they didn't need

BTW

Alan Lazard - Not Vaccinated
Davante Adams- Caught Covid and was Vaccinated

Thus Alan had to sit for being in close contact.

So in 2.5 weeks the NFL has taught me:

1) don't be a bigot, especially in writing
2) don't lie about my vaccination status in a world where there's a pretty high chance of getting the virus the vaccine scientifically protects against
3) don't drink and drive

Every year the NFL continues to show what a $hitshow it is.

Apparently Aaron went on Pat McAfee show to tell everyone he's mad about cancel culture regarding vaccines, quoted MLK, said he listens to Rogan, and still is taking no responsibility for his actions whatsoever.

At least be like Cousins or Beasley and be proud and open about the vaxx status, not intentionally try to misled the public about it and then be mad when that house of cards falls over. Salt lamps and crystal rubbing isn't an immunization, no matter how you slice it in your head.
