If GB wasn’t on a seven game win streak right now Packer nation would be demanding a trade.

Many I know are luke warm on him to begin with and this stuff just makes it look like he just wants GB fans to hate him.

So.
Has anyone heard of someone having the Big C twice?
I sure haven't. And that's good news as I had it before vax was available. And since then I'm vaxed.
Thx.

Yeah it's happening a lot.

Which it was always going to....somehow even high efficacy in trials made people think they basically have hazmat suits on.

So far it's typically much more mild or mild again post-vax or post-case and has a lesser chance* of spreading due to the immune response shutting it down quicker.

*Cue up someone posting the article last week with headlines saying vaxxed can spread just as easily, with data in the article not saying that.

'Breakthrough cases' and 'immune evasion' are trigger words for me.

I'm immune to Covid. Been exposed a ton both pre and post vaccination. Nothin'. I'm a unicorn.

Just remember ... anecdotes =/= proof.

Anyhow, back to Rodgers ...

This is just bizarre. So it appears he told reporters he had been "immunized" and behaved as though he had been, even going to a Halloween party with teammates (per NFL rules, only allowed if you have been vaccinated).

Question -- does the NFL not actually check? They just take your word for it?

I don't think the story is so much vaccinated vs. non-vaccinated (lots of players chose not to, but at least were up front about it), it's the fact he lied about it and blatantly broke rules ... at least it would appear.

... and apparently he passed that off as "immunized" ....?

Sounds like he's trying to make a "technically I wasn't lying!" argument.

I found it interesting that while the above (being a dumbass, lying about it, and not following protocol) is being reported nationally, the Madison TV stations did not say a peep about it last night.
Only that he and the backup tested positive, will out this weekend, and no comment from the coach.

Madison, WI?

News I watched showed the 'immunized' clip and other info.

Has there been anything about other players that have been in close contact and are not vaccinated? Could this take Lazard out again? Other unvaccinated guys at the Halloween party?

Wow.... this thread went from Aaron Rodgers to the validity of covid vaccines. Talk about the definition of "hijacking."

Anyway, if you are a professional athlete (and in Rodgers case, the most important one to his team), you either should have been vaccinated or be extremely careful. He's now costing his team chances of winning and fans, organization, etc have every right to be angry with him. He's not the only athlete in this position either. There will be more examples to come.
