The collapse of small college enrollment is a big indicator of this, by the way.Big thanks to Pollard for all he's done. Important hire for our new president to keep our sports momentum going. I lean more towards the academic side, but good sport team bring a lot of free publicity and thoughts towards the school and at least gets kids to think about ISU as a place to attend college.
He was AD of the year last year. If he's looking to move up, this is a perfect opportunity to work with someone he has already worked with and knows well. The guy from NDST has to be the front runner....Right. He's proven he can win. the mindset has to be the same at NDST as ISU (do more with less) there's an obvious connection with our new Prez.
No, woman's golf coach's Christie Martens and volleyball's CJL were not Jamie hires eitherBe interesting for sure. Have a lame duck AD make the decision to extend his contract or lead the search for a new WBB coach. Is CBF the only one left in the athletics department that Pollard didn't hire?
Is that the Des Moines supt?
Best thing to do is ignore the press and "influencers" forget about the whole thing until the new AD is announced. Disregard this advice if you cut 6 figure checks and above to the AD.According to Hawksters like Hassell, the best we can do is the assistant women’s AD at St. Ambrose
TJ is getting a lot of the attention, but part of the reason Rogers is here is due to the relationship he built with Pollard. Though I'm sure Pollard was upfront with him that his retirement would come sooner rather than later.
If Jimmy ends up being successful, I want an AD that can keep him around as long as possible. I trust Cook knows this.
But if he's not using CF as his 8-ball, we're probably doomed. If Cook knows this, he needs to log off and get to work.
……and we would still probably kick their ass in the Cyhawk series.According to Hawksters like Hassell, the best we can do is the assistant women’s AD at St. Ambrose
Sell is incredible and it cannot be stated enough how much UNI screwed up when he was passed over IMO. I think Dannen was selected over him.Neither of those guys have worked at UNI in over 15 years and have been crazy successful raising money in places that, until very recently in Bozeman, were not easy to raise money in.
SDSU was playing in a high school stadium when Sell got there and they've won two national titles and built $200M in facilities, he revived a struggling basketball program, invested in wrestling and kept their excellent women's sports well funded as he was fixing everything else.
Costello inherited a football program that went 7-4 every year and turned them into a program that passed Montana in the state, increased stadium capacity by 40% and built two new premium clubs. He's nailed three basketball hires and they're getting ready to do an arena upgrade. Has been a finalist for several jobs over the past couple years. He's ready.
Literally nothing to do with them having worked at UNI a lifetime, and 4 ADs, ago.
Money Reynolds it is.Someone who can get a billionaire donor on the line
The next AD will have a big hill to climb.
Using very round numbers...How much would Cytown need to bring in to cut that number down to 25%?
Cy town will not generate much $.How much would Cytown need to bring in to cut that number down to 25%?

There are no rules. Well, we did learn gambling still is not allowed at least.Cy town will not generate much $.
We need a new AD who knows life in the P4 and its current state of lawlessness. No rookies who will learn on the job. We need a marketing guy more than an athletic guy ( or gal ).
Jamie was and is an accountant. Great for ISU for many years. Balanced our books. He is a rule obeyer. We need a rule bender.
