I really need your advice. I have
suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me.
The usual signs; phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My
wife has been going out with 'the girls' a lot recently although when I
ask their names she always says, just some friends from work, you don't know
them.

I try to stay awake and watch for her when she comes home, but I usually
fall asleep. Anyway, I have never broached the subject with my wife.
I think deep down I just did not want to know the truth, but last night
she went out again and I decided to finally check on her around midnight,
I hid in the garage behind my golf clubs so I could get a good view of
the whole street when she arrived home from a night out with 'the girls.

When she got out of the car she was buttoning up her blouse, which was
open, and she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on.

It was at that moment, crouching behind my golf clubs, that I noticed a
hairline crack where the grip meets the graphite shaft on my 3-wood.

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the pro-shop
where I bought it?

Ha Ha love it.

One of the best bits of advice i heard on the original bit is to send her flowers at work with no name of who it is from. If she doesn't say a word to you about it, you know.

You should buy a bag for your clubs, that is probably how the crack got started in the first place, plus the added advantage of more bulk to hide behind.:jimlad:

I recently came across a similar situation.

A few months ago I was in NYC, I take summer classes at an art school in New York, and I saw a man following an old woman and her little grand daughter. He followed them for 4 blocks before making his move. I only saw all of this because they were all walking down E22nd street maybe half a block ahead of me. It was NYC so I was a little nervous myself. Who knows what goes on in those kind of streets? Maybe the three of them were in on it together, maybe if I went over there they would all team up and mug me.

I hesitated as long as possible but, the man kept getting closer and closer to them. He finally hit the woman with a crowbar and grabbed the girl. I knew I couldn't just mind my own business any longer so I ran up as quickly as I could and whistled for a cab and when it came near I realized the license plate said "Fresh" and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I can say that this cab was rare, but I thought "Nah, forget it. Yo Holmes, to Bel-Air!" I pulled up to the house around 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo Holmes, smell ya later!" I looked at my kingdom; I was finally there. To settle my throne as the Prince of Bel-Air.

Dear John:
I hope you can help me. The other day I set off for work, leaving my husband in the house watching TV. My car stalled and then it broke down about a mile down the road so I had to walk back to get my husband's help. When I got home, I could not believe my eyes; he was in our bedroom with the neighbor's 20-year-old daughter. I am 32 and my husband is 34. We have been married for ten years. When I confronted him, he broke down and admitted they'd been having an affair for the past six months. He won't go to counseling and I'm afraid I am a wreck and need advice urgently. Can you help
Sincerely, Sheila

He writes:
Dear Sheila,
A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it is clear, check the vacuum pipe and the hoses on the intake manifold and also check all grounding wires. If none of these approaches solves the problem, it could be the fuel pump.
I hope this helps,
John
