I liked playing for my dad in aau. I would have done the same thing. There's something cool about staying home.

Weren't Fred Hoiberg and Gary Thompson local boys that stayed home and played for Iowa State? It worked out pretty well for both of them. I also remember a McDermott kid that wanted to play for his father at a Valley school. He is not exactly poverty stricken now..

Meh, his dad is there. I get it. The Valley isn't a great league, but the scouts will find him regardless. Hope he has a great career but sucks when we play him.
