Yeah, I'm sure that doesn't help. It should get better when we have real sports to talk about and we don't have to worry as much about off season arrests and such.
It just seems like lately this board has turned into a whizzing match more often than not with everyone taking a side on something and arguing for about 9 pages. Sometimes I wish the mods would shut more threads down when they get into the death spiral. Usually nothing good comes from the 10th page of arguing.
Wow, people need to relax this is just a kid on the brink of a great opportunity trying to have fun with it. There was nothing inappropriate about the tweet, this is a high school kid who has grown men following his twitter account and he knows it. Nothing wrong with playing things up for the Cyclone fans he knows love stuff like this. Personally this kids attitude, its suited perfectly for defense, especially the dline.
I hate to have to see the mods get involved more often, unless it's out of bounds (racist, inappropriate, etc.). A little "knock off the childish crap" from another poster sometimes works. The board is what the posters let it become, other than the completely out of bounds stuff the mods have to get into.
Kinda creepy I went to high school with the kid and I dont even follow Kane on twitter.
I like it. People are too PC these days, especially in sports. Its good to see some trash talk; makes things interesting
Actually he tweeted later that he is probably going to redshirt. He's just havin some fun.
I think a redshirt year would be really good for him. He could stand to get bigger and stronger before he has to hit the field.

i was wrong, i do like hearing your talk/points, but jon has no point in talking about an incoming clone more than chris has talkin about an incomin hok...a teenager talks crap on twitter(which it seems all these kids do and i think is stupid) and jon talks about the kid not bein able to 'cash his checks' ... who is supposed to be an adult?
11en1, u seem to be somebody who takes good natured(even rude) stuff in stride, but jon is a business man with a site and really SHOULD NOT BE ON THIS SITE unless he is giving facts...he is not here for his opinion, he should be on hok site for opinion...
