I guess it's a feeling. I didn't mean that our recruiting has plateaued, just that it seems like the energy around it changed after AG left. I don't pay all that much attention, though; just my personal anecdote.
I know we all are mad. But let’s be fair. Someone on here was basically posting that the people that run this board know more about football than these coaches. Someone found a clip of 2015 Toledo to prove that Campbell has always sucked, and now we’ve decided that they don’t care about recruiting. Guess what? NIL has changed things. And how do we even know the attitude about recruiting has changed?
How does this narrative fit the actual recruitment rankings? I also really liked Golesh. His interview with CW shortly before he left was outstanding. However, I'm not sure that I would say that our current coaches have "stagnated" in recruiting, unless that means that we have plateaued at a level of recruiting that is the highest in our history. Maybe somebody else can provide the actual data regarding recruitment rankings.
