Iowa has the advantage across the board with ISU
Offense: ISU has better skill position player but a bad O-Line. Everyone knows you win up front and Iowa has a proven one with proven guys at both tackles, a first round talent center, and experience at the guards. We also have a good receiving core and solid TE’s. ISU does hold an advantage at TE. Iowa also has a very good RB core in Goodson, Sargent, and Kelly-Martin.
Defense- Iowa everywhere. The D-line returns two starters in Nixon and Gholston, stud 3rd down rushend in Joe Evans ,and brings in an all American DT in Jack Heflin. LB has Djimon Colbert as the leader with Nick Niemann, and Jack Campbell. The secondary isn’t even close. Iowa returns 4 year starter and all B1G CB Matt Hankins, Ball Hawk and elite nickel and dime CB Riley moss, and shutdown CB Julius Brents. ISU does have a slight advantage at Safety with White and Eisworth but Iowa has solid core there in Jack Koerner and Dane Belton. If Iowa does play the cash however then you have decent starter in Kaevon Merriweather to step in for Belton.
Special teams- obviously goes to Iowa as well. Groza runner up Keith Duncan returns and we bring a soldi punter.
In the end Iowa has the better team.

So you think ISU has a better O-line and defense? If so explain yourself

I don't think Iowa State has a better OL but it's not bad. Yes obviously Iowa State has a better defense we return 8 starters. Our secondary is 3 All Conference guys and you said yours is better. You guys have Hankins and that's it. Eisworth, Johnson and White are way better than any DB you have on your roster outside Hankins. We obviously have better LBs with Vance and Rose and have Enyi, Bailey, Petersen and McDonald on the DL.

Your "stud" DE Evans is a walk on from Ames we didn't want who's played in 8 games in his career lol. Moss sucks. Don't think any of your other guys you listed like Brents and Belton have done anything. Your RB room is below average. Your LBs are completely unproven. I do think Campbell will end to being very good at some point in his career but losing Doyle hurt there. Your OL has holes, not even sure who your TE is going to be and your QB was a kid you flipped from Oregon State who is worse than Stanley
