For the Bulls fans out there, is there any reason for Paxson not to call up the Suns and tell them that they can have anyone they want that's not named Rose?

totally agree. Come on Paxson, get this deal done, and get a real big man in Chicago.

Now there is talk of the Bulls sending Gooden and Nocioni to the Kings for Brad Miller and Salmons, and another rumor of Hinrich going to the Timberwolves for two expiring contracts (Collins and McCants).

Can you trade an injured player in the NBA? That would be Garnett like robbery.

I am guessing they'd want Hughes in there somewhere. He's a big contract that expires in the offseason of 2010 where all the stars will be a FA.

keith van horne got traded last year while he was retired.

The Bulls now have Hughes' 13 or so million and Brad Miller's 11 or 12 million coming off the books after next season, so they should be in a good position to make a move for one of the big time free agents. They're also trying desperately to get Hinrich moved to Minnesota for some expiring deals.
