This thread has turned into mostly just CyPunch sharing random posts from people drinking Ames Lager.
Got put in charge of bringing beer to the family event with out-of-town family. They are hawk fans. Unfortunately, no Ames Lager to be found at my local Hy-Vee

Tall boys won't be hitting the retail market any time soon (other than Captain's Getaway in Okoboji). At this point they are strictly for event spaces like Sukup, Johnny's, Scheman, Stephens and eventually some bars. Right now we are sticking with the 12oz 6-packs. We had planned some other exciting package options for this fall but have since put a halt on those plans due to the uncertainty of collectives and upfront cost of materials. We don't want to get stuck with thousands and thousands of dollars in raw materials like Exile did with their **** Swarm Golden Ale, which they have now switched to a lager...go figure.
Got 6 6 packs this Sunday on my way home from Iowa! I wanted to buy out the Hy-Vee but felt like that was a **** move so I left a few in the cooler. Also picked up a 12 pack of the golden ale from backpocket.
Wait, define weapons...because so far the only mass destruction any of their "weapons" have caused was alcohol induced
