She was at the Sky game v. the Mystics in Chicago on Tuesday. She then skipped the Sky v. Dream in Chicago on Thursday, and the Fever game in Indy on Saturday. The travel from Chicago to Indianapolis isn't exactly long and arduous, and I'd think if that were the issue her coach would've said that.

I scanned the article quickly because it seemed like a "stir the pot" article more than provide any real content to back up the conjecture. Did her coach say it was an issue? Did any players? If not end of story.

Sitting at a home game, she can go to the locker room, get treatment and go home. The first 2 can happen at a road game, but in the end she still needs to get on a plane/bus.

Agree to disagree. I don't think she's so gimped up she can't sit on a chartered plane for an hour. And one of the games she skipped was in Chicago. Just shows a disregard for her team and teammates. Glad CC wants to be there for her team and support her teammates while she's out with injury.

Your opinion is no different than if I came here after reading a click-bait article that said CC groin injury wasn't that bad and she could play. She's quietly boycotting playing WNBA games because she's not paid enough. Just look at T-shirt she wore to WNBA All-Star game.

No, she decided to not attend the games and support her team and teammates because she was "stepping away" according to her coach. That's what he said. It wasn't about a back "flair-up", lol. He said she was "stepping away" to focus on that rehab, as if it's not possible to focus on rehab while also attending the games and supporting her team like CC has.

I have no idea how her teammates feel about it. We'll probably never know, but I'd be willing to bet they'd prefer her to be there supporting them.

Totally agree. She didn't ask for it. But she's handled all of it about as well as it could be handled.
