"anyone worried"?....... why wouldnt you be? Anyone that says this is a game we should obviously win, hasn't been watching the Big12 religiously this year or hasn't taken note that Texas played KU to the wire in Lawrence two weeks ago, and finished beating Baylor and KState. The same Baylor team that beat us in Hilton. Not to mention they're playing to get in the big dance. So,...was the OP's post just a thread to stir the fan base into arguing with each other as to how they approach the games, again?

Worried? About a basketball GAME? Heck no. I worry about how to pay my bills! I worry about things that are actually IMPORTANT in life and not a basketball GAME. Games are meant to be FUN! Not worrisome. You put way too much emphasis on a game.

Get a job loser. It's 12:50 on a Tuesday have a look at yourself.

I'm not too worried, the guys have the taste of a championship from laat year and I feel like they really want that again.

Why do you spell it Tejas? I don't get it.
The name Texas comes from an older Native American word Tejas. It is the same root as Tejano.

I often will refer to UT as Tejas, just as a reminder that they are South Texas, not really representing the entire state. If you ask pretty much any Longhorn they will tell you they are Texas' real university - the national university of the Republic of Texas - and they others are all pretenders.

Yeah, I know, it is a minor jab.

If we can't beat Texas in Hilton South then we aren't going to do well in tournament either. There are only 2 teams we can lose to in KC and they are BooU and Buddy Hield. We should own anyone else. And let me be clear, we should not lose to Self or Kruger but loss to them would not be a huge setback.

This is not pretender ISU basketball. We are the problem for other teams now and they should worry about playing us.

One thing about a potential match up with Texas is that they will only have one game under their belt...That is not too much momentum....They will be a little tired from the night before, but not too bad. How about a 5 overtime game with Tech? That would be nice.

A 2 game winning streak is big momentum in KC, but a one game winning streak is nothing. So if we had to face Texas, better on Thursday and not Friday.

There is no easy way to Sat, unless, both Tech and Okie State win......Even that, that is not easy, but that would be the best breaks possible.

I'd take Texas over Baylor and OU, but that's it. I'd rather have Baylor's spot in the bracket.

I'm worried because anything can happen, but, we should be able to beat Texas come Thursday. If we play ISU basketball for 40 minutes, there shouldn't be a team that can beat us. That is a big "if" we can play the way we are capable. We've been here before and know what it takes. I don't think Texas does

The only team I don't want is Baylor. Their combination of 3 point shooters and a physical interior defense plays into our 2 biggest weaknesses.

(Looks very Cycloney)

Either case...no worry!
