Anyone going to the Baylor game?

I am looking at purchasing tickets for my group to drive up to Waco from Austin (yay for the short drive!), but Baylor's ticket website does not indicate which sections are reserved for visitor's seating. I would prefer to sit with other Clones rather than be scattered amongst the Bears (when I attended the ISU-BU men's basketball game in January, some of the kindly conservatives that make up a portion of their fanbase did not appreciate my vociferous obscenities).

I am planning on calling the Baylor ticket office this afternoon for more information, but was interested if anyone here had any experience or thoughts.

I would, but last time I went down there, I met some guy who wouldn't leave me alone, kept wanting me to come to a big cookout. He kind of looked like Jesus.

All of Section E is the visitors section. I actually noticed on my NCAA '09 game (no, I don't have a life) that Floyd Casey had a rather generous location for visitors. The seats are at the 35-40 yard line from field level to the top.

My group of 6 will be across the field on the 50 yd line. See you there!

Usually visitor section tickets are sold by the visiting ticket office until the week or so before the game aren't they?

I checked Cyclones.com, but it seemed to indicate that they are only offering single game away tickets to NCC members.

My wife and I are coming from Plano (north Dallas) to the game. We ended up getting a great deal on 40 yard line lower level seats on E-Bay. It looks like they will be right adjacent to where the Iowa State block of seats are.

I tried getting them via the Baylor ticket office but they referred me to the ISU box office. But the ISU box office said they were reserved for season ticket holders first, then Cyclone Club members next and I'm neither so they couldn't sell me any just yet. Then I found a much better deal on E-Bay so I'm happy.

See you there!

Oh yeah I forgot that sidenote... I think season ticket holders are included in that (I purchased mine via my student season ticket the last 2 years)

The Baylor ticket office told me that sections S-V were generally reserved for visiting teams, but they sell seats in that section to anyone, so there's no guarantee of being seated with other ISU fans. They said if you want to guarantee a spot with other ISU fans, to order them thru ISU's ticket office. Seeing as how I'm not an NCC member, I went ahead and purchased tickets for Section S. About the 25-30 yard line. Not too bad.

I ordered tickets through the Baylor site for section S. That's the visitor section according to both ticket offices.

Does anyone know where there is to tailgate around the stadium?
