I just made the move from iPhone to HTC Incredible two days ago. HTC is a good phone and had I not had the iphone I would be in love with it...since I had the iphone, it's pretty good, but I miss the intuitive aspects of the iphone. I do like the google synching, as I use their calendar and email. But I had to get off the ATT network. Horrible.

Once verizon gets the iphone, whether its this year or in two years, I will be switching back to that phone

I understand where you are coming from. The iPhone deserves a LOT of credit for its intuitiveness and overall smoothness. It's just a simple and easy (and fun) experience. But the Sense overlay on top of Android on the Incredible is pretty awesome too. Fast, smooth, and SO customizable. Once you get used to the idea of customizing home screens, widgets, etc, you'll realize even the new iPhone is missing some key, key features. Having weather/twitter/calendar etc right there on my home screens is neat. The camera on the DI is awesome too.

I'll give you all some advice. When I was trying to sync up my outlook with the Incredible it was only syncing when wi-fi was enabled at work and not using the VZW data network. After a day or two of not knowing why it wasn't working at home I figured out I had configured the server as the dot(.) IP address and not the mail(.) address. Now it works fantastic for work and is great to have on the road.
I would recommend the phone in a heartbeat, been great so far.

With the Droid X coming out it looks like the Incredible had an incredibly short life as being a cool phone.

There are pictures of it with other phones. The width and thickness look pretty similar to other Android phones. It does look a little taller.

Meh, one thing i like about the incred, is the size of it. Manufacturers really should use the iphone and the incredible as examples of what to strive for.

The Dell Streak is huge and I've seen a few reviewers claim they put it in their pocket like a normal phone.

How are you liking it? I'm getting one soon. It will be my first smartphone.
Not sure if you have a choice, but I just got the Sprint evo a week ago and love it. After getting the runaround at Verizon for weeks I gave up on the Incredible. Their service was horrible! I called Sprint service, and I was never put on hold. After I had my service question answered, they asked if they could call back and make sure it was working. And, they called back. I am using the Airave which does data unlike Verizon's counterpart, and I believe the Evo has more capabilities.

I have a plam pre and an incredible and I can tell you that the Evo is probably a great phone but if you do any traveling you will have tough time always being able to get a data signal. TWith the Incredible I get way better coverage everywhere.

The Evo has more capabilities than what? It's an Android phone... it does what Android does. The WiMax is meh if you ask me.
