I think they have always been good, but not particularly lucky. Just seems like guys that can't make anything seem to make 3 pointers against ISU. Yes, defense plays a part, but guys that should never take a 3 pointer are making 2-3 against ISU. Surprised KSU didn't make 60% today, not because they are good shots, just because it seems to happen to ISU a lot.

My exact thoughts when the K State player drained that deeeep 3 with a guy in his face right on the sideline.

Anyone notice going into a timeout Niang looked right past prohm and engaged with otz? Maybe I'm looking too much into it but for our top guy to go to the assistant coach tells me a lot about prohms relationship with our player. Thank god for tj I guess

I saw something similar, but Prohm was listening to them. I think it's reading too much into it.

Just wondering.

What exactly was the purpose of this thread?...to try and say that because we played good and won today that nothing was wrong before this game?

We have a very talented team that played good today...we hadn't been defending worth a crap the last few games. Hopefully we continue to defend like today. Save the 'I told you so' posts, please.

It was a much needed good win over a team we should beat.

We were always good. Just how good was in question. Still not sold on this team on the defensive side of the ball yet but today was a step in the right direction.

All I know is I thoroughly enjoy beating the Mildcats!!! Love it, Love it, Love it!! Way to go guys. Also, love the announcers saying "the demise of the ISU Cyclones is greatly exaggerated." Are there still concerns? Yes (mainly depth) but we rarely win at the Litter Box, and the guys just kept a pesky KSU team at bay throughout the game. GO CYCLONES!!!

Yup. Heard on postgame that this was Georges first win at K State. Good win.

Reading the boards last couple of weeks we rank anywhere from hot garbage, to possible final 4 team.

I will say we are closer to the final 4 team than hot garbage that some on here would have you believe.

Still think they are sweet 16 and with some luck maybe a final 8.

Pretty sure multiple coaches talk in the huddle, and sometimes there is more than one conversation going on.

Here nor there
Nadar played high-level Big 12 ball and was a difference maker. When is on, we are such a different team. Please, let him be on for OU.

I would not mind more small-ball of Nader playing the four and using Cooke/Ashton off the bench in a three guard look.
