He sounds a lot like Norton, based on this assessment of his skills.

We are going to need to hang on to Sanders IMO, because he will be the lightning to counteract the thunder that Norton, Harris, and Brock bring.
I would guess that Samu may well be the lightning. But then that leaves them with zero CBs in the class, which is a problem.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Samu. You'd love to have depth in the CB room, but if he has legitimate potential at RB that could be game changing, I think you have to put him in the RB room.

It wouldn't surprise me either. No transfer surprises me any more. Plus there are 2 rounds- Dec/Jan & May.

With Sanders speed, curious if staff doesn't explore position switch for spring ball if he doesn't project as top 3 back.

Hoping new S&C staff might have big impact on our speed/quickness.

I think Sanders could thrive in 2 RB sets (similar to Oregon style), where we can get him on the edge after faking inside zone or sneak out in pass routes off playaction to the other RB.

I have wanted to see 2 RB sets for awhile now. Similar idea to when we had two really good TEs, you run the formations that fit your team. Using your examples utilizing an inside zone or PA pass to the flats, if one of the guys is having success then you can at the very least keep the defense honest by having a second option out of the backfield. Best case, you catch them anticipating one RB and torch them with the other.

Oh, I don't think that we'll go 4 deep to start.
<snip>
You have to have 4 solid RBs ready to play to start the season and Harris gives us that.
Make up your mind, are we four deep with solid running backs, or not? ;)

Someone said we need a “massive talent upgrade” at the position. We’re about to have three four star backs…plus one who was under the radar, whom everyone loves. Unless we land a five star—I can’t see that happening in the immediate future—that’s not going to happen.
