Ashley Okland Murder

This right here. My wife was friends with Ashley. From what I’ve heard the State doesn’t have much. What they are gonna show, though, is that Kristin hated Ashley and she changed her story about that day multiple times. That might not be enough to get a conviction, but it might convince enough of the public that she did it to still make the trial worthwhile. They are convinced she did it. Physical evidence isn’t there, though, from the way it sounds. That isn’t going to change so just put the facts out there regardless.
Do we know why Kristin hated Ashley?

Sadly I think you are right. I know it’s not a popular opinion but at least this case can be tried so everyone at least knows the real deal. If if reasonable doubt gets her off, people can at least form their opinions, the family can know deep down they know who the killer was or wasn’t.
It really all comes down to them being able to put her at the crime scene at virtually the same time the murder was committed. As a juror id like to think im not putting someway away for life based on circumstances evidence alone.

This trial has no business happening in central Iowa.

So the state arrested her just based on that?? If that’s the case and she’s found not guilty she’s going to sue the **** out of the Iowa DOJ.(if true)

No that’s not what I meant to convey. I think they believe they have enough to possibly get a conviction. They also know how difficult it can be without physical evidence. They’ve likely been waiting and hoping to find something that would cement things for them and they just haven’t been able to. It’s time to do what’s right for the victim and present this evidence and try to convict the person they believe is responsible.

Which is common in most of these situations. They have likely thought Ramsey is the killer for sometime, just never had enough to take it to trial.

If she truly did not do it, maybe. If she did it, and gets away, I highly doubt she's going to do anything other than move far away.
