Pack was the third vote on cyfan, at about 6.15. You then had North, mdk & Fitzy in quick succession from 8.43 to 8.59. Yet you're suspicious of pack?

VOTE GIPPER.

I have a question for you KC:
If you were mafia, does it make more sense to vote earlier (at like 6:00) to try and put someone in the lead and hope others follow you, or is it smarter to vote right at the end of the day like Fitzy? I think that if Fitzy was mafia it would be too dangerous to vote like he did yesterday.
That’s why I am more suspicious of Pack and North. Of course that’s just a theory and I could be totally wrong. As far as MDK goes, I’m a little suspicious of him, but his vote was probably just self preservation.

If the person in danger was a special mafia, it makes sense.

My opinion and observation: most of the time the mafia has a tendency to lay low early on in the game in order to avoid suspicion, at least on day 1. Voting too early can make it look like you are pushing for someone and voting late makes you stand out as well by either having a throw away vote or deciding vote.

My actions yesterday were I saw a couple early votes for me so I held off voting until late realizing I potentially needed to go into self preservation mode. Which ended up being the case.

Sorry everyone about the strictness of the reaction rules. The reason I’m trying it is to see if by removing them if discussion about what happens rather than relying on seeing reactions and knowing how many people think the same way. That type of groupthink has gotten people complacent and go along with others. And it’s an easy way for mafia members to know what ways innocents are leaning and can factor into who they target and what not.

All of this to say that I believe you should say what you think in mafia games where being social is a big part of the game. If the group decides they don’t like it and want to return to normal, that’s fine. I’m just seeing if by switching up how we do things can change interactions in the day phase.

I agree. I'm not suspicious of Fitzy (at least not overly so...I'm always a LITTLE bit suspicious of Fitzy). What I was suspicious of is gipper calling out packattack for his vote. And it seems others are jumping onto that vote.

I understand your reasons, and can appreciate the logic. It's just damned hard to remember to NOT to hit the reactions!

Good rule. It’s just going to take some time to get used to.

I can agree with this post. It’s not a bad rule. It’s just taking away a staple of this sites usage. Kind of like switching from drinking beer out of a bottle to a mug. Like you put ur lips around it and suckle it but you tip it back and get a rush of goodness right into your mouth.

Can we limit the agreeing and liking away from mafia posts, but keep them for social posts? I mean saying I agree that it is hard to not hit agree seems a bit redundant, and not really helpful to the strategy of the game. If someone posts an opinion about a different player I can see how actually responding is helpful. But if mdk posts something like "You just wanted to use the word 'suckle'" I just want to rate it funny and move on.

I’ll allow the use of the funny gif.
