The Iowa State Club of DFW is offering group rate tickets for men's basketball games throughout Texas and Oklahoma (OU, OSU, Baylor, TCU, UT, Texas Tech, Texas A&M). Details below. All credit card fees and postage/shipping fees are included. Tickets will be sent out at least one week prior to gameday. Pregame gatherings will begin at least 3 hours prior to tipoff depending upon the event with details available via future newsletters as well as at DFWCyclones.com
Please get your orders in as soon as possible. We will begin ordering blocks of tickets from the various schools on Monday November 30th. Seats are assigned on a first come, first serve basis so the earlier you order the better your seats will be. Tickets ordered after the Nov 30 soft deadline may or may not be in the main ticket block of ISU fans. We will always do our best to get everyone together but there are no guarantees. We will be able to purchase tickets up to a couple of weeks prior to each game as long as seats are available through the box offices.
We are exploring the possibility of arranging a bus trip to Stillwater on Sat Feb 6th. The bus would leave early in the morning (6:30 AM) from a central location (perhaps Fox and Hound Dallas parking lot) and arrive in Stillwater early enough to have lunch at Eskimo Joe's before the game. We would then leave back for Dallas immediately after the game arriving back in Dallas around 8PM. Seats would likely be in the $40-50 range depending upon how many seats we can sell. We will only explore this option if we have enough interest as these trips are complicated to set up so respond with level of interest and number of people involved.
We did this last year and had fantastic results. The team loves seeing all of the Cyclone fans in the stands. We are hoping to get a few minutes for a Q&A session with some of the coaches and/or players after one or two of the games (OU/TCU) but that will be subject to what we can arrange at the time. The Club has developed a very good relationship with the athletic department and we are hoping to provide our members more access than ever this season. Participation in DFW Cyclone events has its privileges! Get involved!
