Bad: cleat-footed cup check.
Worse: cleat-footed cup check that lifts you off the ground.
Worst: cleat-footed cup check in near-freezing temperatures that lives you off the ground.

At the first Taekwondo tournament I ever competed in, I saw one match with 3 kicks to the crotch (and a seeming racial component):
1) Tournament host welcomes us to the "Ring of Death (his title), saying "I don't know what's going on, but people have been going down in this ring all day." Great start.
2) A dropped Contestant B with a dead on kick upwards into the groin. B rolls around for a little bit, then decides to get back to action.
3) Inevitably, after a few seconds of sparring, B drops A with a dead on kick upwards into the groin. A rolls around, seems angry by the whole thing, but eventually gets up to get things going.
4) Unbelievably, in a way that's almost impossible, in only took a few seconds before the double shot happened, and both guys were writhing around on the ground. I sat there, glad that I'd lost, in case this happened to me.

After the competition, we were chatting. I asked one of the guys if he wore a cup. Of course, he said "no." I asked why not. He said, "I don't want to lose my flexibility."

I asked, "Were you very flexible rolling around on the floor?" He looked at me like I'm some kind of moron. I decided it was a good time to go find dinner.
