I wonder if the players/families could sue? I know that'd be burden on many families, but wonder what the possibility would be? Misrepresentation by the coaches and staff? Probably make all kinds of cases for cause and changes of contractual terms.

With all that's going on, can't believe Baylor is going to hold kids hostage and doubt they'd go to court to fight it. If I were a parent, I'd be floating that idea just to see if they'd buckle at the PR implications.

Even threatening a trial with a discovery phase focused on when Baylor knew about these allegations should end that fight real quick.

This. But still a huge burden to the family.

Sure, but it will also be incredibly easy for just about any school to recruit against that. "Do you really want to go to a school that fires their coach over covering up horrible things, and then wont let you out of your LOI". Baylor is going to be falling into a hole that will take them a long time to climb out of

I don't know, they seem to have a knack for recovering from scandalous behavior. Will Baylor ever change?

Hudson will probably end up at Texas
Duvernay most likely ends up with is brother at Texas also
Urquidez...OU or UT
Cobb probably ends up at TCU
Martin who knows, but I know he was high on Houston during recruiting.

Means more than likely we get to face these guys anyway for the next 4-5 years.

It wouldn't hurt for the coaching staff to pick up a phone and call although I suspect those players are inundated with calls from everywhere. If Martin is a "who knows" I'd focus on him.

Dayuum...They'll pick up some other guys as the process goes on, but I'm really wondering if this will really continue to hurt their recruiting for the year and possibly next. Grobe is a no nonsense guy. He won't put up with a lot of BSing from players or anyone else.
The big point is that as long as Grobe is "interim" their recruiting is screwed. They gonna take a big step back.

Looks like things might be getting back to normal. Baylor might drop down a few pegs and it looks like Texas is going to benefit from Baylor's shenanigans along with the other top tier Big 12 teams.

Hasn't been the best thing for the big 12, but at least one thing is these players are staying in the big 12. Hate to say it, but we need a few more teams to rise up nationally to be powers for the sake of the conference. Texas may or may not get there eventually, but I feel these baylor recruits are saving Strong's job in the near future.
