OK. at kellehers now, trying to stay upright.

Avery Majaraja is absolutely amazing. Easily in the same ballpark as DFH 90 or Bell's Hopslam.

I think I might go with something called 'motus hoperrendi' nextm because it comes in a can and I adore the clever name.

I usually switch off between Natty and Keystone, and prefer just about anything that comes in a 30 pack and will get me drunk.....

not to make myself sound like a alcoholic or anything

We had kabobs for supper, and I finished our last Left Hand milk stout. If we had another, it would be gone in a heartbeat as it's 9:30 and our 3-year-old still isn't in bed. Oy.

We just our 2-year old in bed 15 minutes ago, and I just now put down our 4-month old.

Our 8-month-old was beyond tired at 8:30, so she went to bed early (on time, actually, but the rest of us hadn't even eaten supper at that point.) The hub is working on getting the 3-year-old to bed while I do dishes and pick up (or that's what I'm supposed to be doing, anyway, instead of checking email and CF).

Have you hit the terrible twos yet? I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the threes are worse. Much, much worse.

You know what's sad? One beer and I was getting the happy feeling I used to get after 3-4 in my prime. I am now a cheap date.

Ballast Point Sculpin is amazing, amazing beeer.

Certainly amongst the best IPAs I've ever had.

My face is numb, and I wish to see the school nurse.

Your spelling is admirable for as drunk as you should be. Glad to hear the beers aren't disappointing.

Thanks. I like to think it has something to do with the actual keyboard on my treo, coupled with my sprint coverage, directv, and my 720p plasma.

I am enjoying a new belgium blue paddle right now.

We tried it last weekend. Not nearly as hoppy as the label made it sound. I liked it.

Question: Do you have to extend your pinky finger when you drink these?

My friend and I have been attacking the import section at Hy-Vee, buying 6 packs of stuff we have never had before. I just had Stella Artois, a Belgian beer that is pretty good. However, when I looked at the expiration date when i bought it this week it had expired on april 10th. Still not bad.

I actually went to the Potosi Brewery in Wisconsin. They have a museum with a ton of old beer memorabilia. It costs $7.00 for the self guided tour which gets you a free beer at the end of the tour. Their brewpub is very nice as well. We ate there and the food was rather inexpensive and the actual bar was simply amazing. The woodwork was incredible. Plus the beer was really good. I ended up having a sampler with my meal and it came with 5-4oz samples of their beer and a sample of their root beer that they make. I would suggest going up there sometime it was really interesting and fun.

On another note since I was in Wisconsin I picked up some New Glarus beer while I was there. I built my own 6 pack with some beers that I had never tried and their black wheat and coffee stout are simply amazing. But I saw one of their fruit beers and had to get one. I got their raspberry tart and it is like no other beer that I have ever had. It was almost like a wine but it was really good. has anyone else tried this stuff before?

Just thought I would mention I'm addicted to Retro Red Ale by the Fort Collins Brewing Company. It only scores a B from those on beeradvocate, but I think it's a great, reasonably priced brew. I love Red Ales and have tried quite a few and this is top notch. Has a nice hop kick, but is smooth enough to drink a sixer. I love this stuff. Anyone else like reds that can give me some other recommendations?

Just picked up a 6-er of Point Nude Beach. An ok summer brew...dunno if I'd buy it again, but it was enjoyable while it lasted.
