Toss-up. Can't really root for Nebraska anymore. Did I ever? Yeah, at times. They were a conference member. They are no longer in the Big 12 so I don't really care about them anymore. A little too arrogant for my blood. They wanted out. They got what they wanted.

Wonder who will really be faster, Ngoyi or Sharon Adams. Per HUDL, Ngoyi ran 4.38 but Adams 4.41 in the 40.

I get the "relationship" to Huskers as this a young man is from Nebraska but give it a rest. This is a thread about Ngoyi who is more important than a team we don't even play.

Honestly at this point it's more that I don't think the fans have been humbled yet. For the most part they thought they'd roll into the Big 10 and slay. Many just haven't quite given up the ghost of chasing the 90s. Until the fanbase is actually broken I'll root against them every game.
The condescending fans we dealt with for years (and still exist in droves) I want to see eliminated before I'm willing to root for Neb in any way.
I'm just a few years younger, so I have childhood memories of N being d*ckclowns running up the score etc, but most of my young adult years we were sneakily competitive and then nearly did them like Texas on their way out of the Big 12.

90s stuff for sure, but everything plays into it.
I always root for Nebraska, but you just cant seem to do it. Is it the most lopsided fake rivalry game in the B1G? Its the only game I need you to win yearly.
Ngoyi really does look like a special athlete. Lots of promise but could be returning kicks immediately in 23.
