Because of distance, I don't get to Hilton often. The 1992 Okla St game the greatest game (I got to see in person)----and probably in the top-3 all-time @ Hilton in sporting events period

Another event in the top-3 (which I saw as a youngster) was the Iowa-ISU wrestling match in 1981. The loudest Hilton has ever been---ever. Happened as our heavyweight pinned #1 Lou Banach to secure victory

Stinson-Blalock-Clark (The Virginia game) is Rahshon's #1 dunk in this video.

Rahshon Clark was the man! One of my all time favorites that I got to see play.

I can think of 4:

As previously mentioned, the 2000 Texas game and the 2000 sweet sixteen game against UCLA.

Also, the 2000 BigXII tournament championship over OU.

I was going to say that the 1997 game against Kansas in Hilton was my all-time favorite. Willoughby hit 9 threes, and that was the loudest I ever heard Hilton. Jacque Vaughn was standing 3 feet from Roy Williams at one point, and Williams was yelling at him trying to set a play up and Vaughn couldn't hear him. But then I was looking it up to see if I had the year, etc correct, and I found out we lost that game 69-62. I had completely forgotten that.

I'm not old enough to remember some of these games. My personal best was the NIT game in 04, against Marquette. I know, I know, some of you were there in the 80's and 90's and it was WAY LOUDER (looking at my dad) but for me that's the winner. We didn't go to many games when I was 7-15, and the clones weren't really on TV in the eastern part of the state.

Wow.....watching that Rashon dunk video....that 2008 team.......DG, Rashon, Brackins, Jiri, Wesley Johnson........how the hell did that team lose 18 games? Don't answer.....I know. Just imagine the results for CFH with that team. Oh well.......moving on.......just had to vent a bit.

The 2010 team had more talent than that, with DG, Gilstrap, Brackins, JVB, Scotty, Dendy, Hamilton.

That was the single most disappointing sports season I've had as a fan. And I'm a Cyclones/Twins/Vikings fan!

Unfortunately I haven't been to too many good basketball games. The John Neal Iowa game was good, and I was at last year's Baylor game. I think the best game I attended was back in '06/'07 at Mizzou. We were getting beat most of the game and I had to live with Mike Taylor pulling up on a fast break from 3 and hitting the side of the backboard, Brock Jacobson playing entirely too much, and Rahshon Clark bricking an easy dunk. Overall it was a bad day, but in the end we were somehow still in the game. I remember laughing so hard when Mizzou inbounded the ball at the end expecting a foul, but we just trapped and he ended up travelling. Then, Mike Taylor shot another one off the side of the backboard only to have Wesley Johnson tip it in with a second on the clock. It was a good feeling winning on the road and seeing the Mizzou fans, who actually stayed til the end, leave in disappointment.

Oklahoma State '00. Fizer "one more year". I was up in a balcony corner section on the aisle, and just remember jumping up and down on the stairs as everyone around me was screaming their lungs out.

Fizer over Mihm.

Any win over KU.

1) 2001 vs. Kansas. I think we were ranked #7 and KU was #6. That game was the reason for the voucher system as students camped on the steps of Hilton (some built fires) the night before. I got in line around 7am (it was an afternoon game) and just barely made it into the last row in the arena circle. I've never seen anything like it.

2) 2004 vs. Texas. Probably the single loudest moment I've heard Hilton in when Boddiker went to the line.

My buddies and I got in line at about 2 am that morning for this game, and we still were not first in line. Watching the sunrise from Hilton Coliseum while drinking a Natty Light was fun though and beating KU was even better.

1987. Lafester Rhodes scoring 54 against Iowa. Tickets were part of a semester break package. We sat 4 rows behind the Iowa State bench.

I really hated Jeff Moe.

Just one guy, I spread it around on any Smuckeye.

I was a student from 93-97 and I know I saw some good games. Had season tickets and I remember at least one Kansas game where my tickets were on the seats behind the basket (student tickets rotated among 4-5 different spots from balcony to parquet to behind the basket). The whole stands were shaking and you couldn't hear anything.

I remember watching the 92 OSU game at home with my Dad.

Also had the opportunity to go to both Kansas and Baylor last year. Fun times!

1995 watching Hoiberg light it up against Kansas.

After seeing one person mention the Nebraska game to clinch the '01 title, I guess I would also add the '00 Baylor game where we clinched the conference for the history of it. I remember Fizer kind of sneaking up with the scissors for the nets, but the Baylor folks denied us.

One of my personal favorites was against Texas Tech in 2005. We'd dropped our first 5 games in conference play, but had won the previous 4 before the Tech game, so everyone had a "we're on a roll" vibe. Tech was pretty good at the time, ranked in the top 20. We destroyed them; it was one of those where everyone had a really good game. Homan was a beast. Plus, all of the Bob Knight taunts were enjoyable.
