The only real memorable game watching experience I have that wasn't in person was the WBB win over Mich. St. that got us to the Elite Eight. I was in the women's pep band that year, but hadn't gone on the trip because I had a commitment I needed to stay in town for. Being pretty emotionally invested in the team having watched them all year, I was pretty irritated that this prior commitment was going to cause me to miss at least the first 5-10 minutes of the game. The event was at the MU and would not end. When I finally got out of there I made a bee-line straight to Welch Ave. where some friends had managed to somehow save me a seat by the big screen and was just in time for the last 5 minutes, so I at least got to witness all the last minute heroics and had a blast the rest of the night.
