I think you mean City High. They played each other in the first round of playoffs, as usual. The score was only 35-28, but that tells nothing about the game. City High played Bettendorf like the Cyclones played Oklahoma- stomped all over them for most of the game, then made a couple dumb mistakes towards the end. That was some damn amazing football, and from high school kids to boot! If you can find the recording of the game, it's definitely worth watching- lots of fun.Just to let you know, with the exception of IC West, Cedar Falls and Assumption (the first time around), Bettendorf ROLLED over everyone this year.

Wow, those are not the numbers I was expecting from Ankeny. How long have they been a 4A program? It didn't occur to me that they may have only moved up around the same time that Johnston did.Since the playoffs began in 1972...
