They barely avoided total disaster yesterday.

Illinois and Michigan St both escaping with 1 pt wins..... and Wisky basically came down to the wire too.

I would definitely not say they were impressive.... they barely escaped.
100% agree with this.

Maybe it was posted elsewhere or mentioned during game-cast, but just read this on CBS Sports recap:

The previous time TCU won a game in the tournament (1987), Jamie Dixon was the team's second-leading scorer.

(Quick research shows he was 3rd, but main point stands)

Gonzaga would probably be a 5 seed if you gave them 7 games against KU, Tech and Baylor.

No way they go better than 4-3. Probably 3-4 or 2-5. They were 1-2 against that caliber opponent in the 3 game sample entering tourney.
I have the zags going down to Tech in my Bracket. If they let them play tough on defense they might be able to beat the hell out of Holmgren and smother those guards. Really really hope we get that matchup

I get the big turnaround from 2 wins to 21 so far, but I can't seem to find a good site/ OR spend obviously way too much time...yet I wonder if we're the only team that made the big dance this year after a losing record the previous year. Anyone else know?

Has the Big 12 ever gone undefeated in the first round? These threads done happen much, if ever.

Don't think so. If somehow all 6 make it to next weekend it'll be tied for most teams in the sweet 16 (ACC 2016).

Unfortunately, Baylor is down by 14 to North Carolina at the half. Not looking good for them.

The lead singer from the Spin Doctors was going off on Baylor for UNC, but just got ejected for a thrown elbow.

My bracket will be very happy if this holds up. Have UNC losing in the Elite 8. I didn’t trust Baylor with how they looked at the end of the year and UNC was a team everyone kept questioning, so I told myself pick them to go far simply because it’s the exact type of team everyone writes off and they somehow make a run. Syracuse is the master of this.

Baylor is tied. They are being allowed to mug and grab and hold to a degree I've never seen ISU get away with on defense. Ever.

Baylor ruined our streak. Coach Drew was classy in defeat. I have to admit, one of the best.
