Apparently I've taken a hallucinogenic. The PAC is re-doing their deal in 18 months, so...
If the SEC & B1G want to kill their competition they could do the following.
1. SEC offers USC & Oregon spots in 2 years.
2. B1G offers Washington, UCLA, Sanford & Cal spots in 2 years.
3. SEC offers Clemson & FSU spots in 15 years.
4. B1G offers Duke & UNC spots in 15 years.
With the PAC down to 8 teams in 2 years, they would likely be dead. (if so we could pick up UA, ASU, CU & UU)
With the ACC hurting (if not dead) in 15 years I'm guessing the remaining 10 would be scrambling. They would be in our position last month with no one good to add except perhaps Memphis. If the BIG XII opened up 4 or 6 positions for the ACC in addition to maybe adding 2 more out west, that would make for in interesting problem for the PAC/ACC offices to solve.
SEC at 20
B1G at 20
BIGXII at 20 or 24
PAC 12 at 2 or 0
ACC at 6 or 4
If so, I'm guessing the west teams would be rolled into the MWC and the east to the AAC.
Do you want to share my mushrooms? LOL
