No conf has been very good. Not just the B12. Big East really sucks.

I would agree. The Big 10 keeps moving along and one of their teams is missing their best player who was pretty damn good. The Big 12 and Big East have been very disappointing. Once again I want to see what the elite 8 looks like before I would go out and say someone is overrated.

Big 12 has two teams in the Sweet 16. That's not embarrassing. A&M lost a heart breaker in a 4/5 game. That's not the worst thing in the world. Kansas is really the only skid-mark on the Big 12 underwear to this point. Anytime your conference champ loses to the Missouri Valley champ, it's not good.

if the b10 wants to pound their chest about this, that's fine - they sent 3. but it took a last second 3 from MSU and a last second play from Kramer (great play btw) to beat A&M in OT. TX completely choked and OSU lost a last second game to GTech.

I think the b12 did a good job of losing close games in the tourney..but that doesn't take away from a great preseason.

I agree with this. Although I'd probably add the Longhorns to the skid mark category. What in the heck happened to them this year?! There are probably 6 pros on that team. Guess it shows that if talent doesn't mesh in the right way, wins won't come.

Texas lost their 2 starting guards to injury through the year and played 3 freshman most of the time. They will be fine.

Just think how bad most teams would be by the end of the season after losing 2 starting guards.

They really went downhill ... never really gelled after they got knocked off by UConn.

UT must have really slipped — Wake beat them, and Wake looked horrible vs. UK.

There really was no excuse for UT being that bad. They lost Ward early, and seemed to play well without him immediately after his injury. Losing Balbay certainly hurt, but he isn't the type of player whose loss makes you go from first to terrible. They had at least 5 future NBA players, and were inexcusably bad.

K-State and Baylor could both easily be in the final 4. K-State will be favored, and even if Baylor plays Duke they wont be too much of an underdog.

Texas always seems to have these issues. Get tons of great players but never really get the momentum like KU seems to. I think Rick Barnes is a great coach for Texas, but their drop off every year puzzles me.
