Not sensitive in the least bit. I brought up a casual point and was just discussing it, NOT being sensitive.

Couldn't disagree more. I don't care if you haven't won a game in 30 years, you call the game fair. That is their job.

Our job as FANS is to say, "we suck, we got smoked, we got handled again"

Kansas fans can say all day that they killed us, I have no problem with that. Just because because we got beat by 20 doesn't mean they needed to say some of those things. I very acceptable thing to say would be, "Kansas showed up and played a great game"."Iowa State couldn't get the ball rolling." "Iowa State racks up more injuries, gets beat by Kansas."

Remember: I'm not nit picking, I was bring up a point that I usually don't here some of those thing from most announcers. Not a big deal, just a thread.

They don't "have" to say anything along those lines. They "Have" to call the game fair.

If not, why not have every ESPN or Big 12 network announcer call their favorite teams' games, that would be awesome for both teams I bet. There wouldn't be any biased opinions or anything.

They didn't have much to talk about because ISU was getting killed and they need to fill the airtime with something. Have you read any of the things people post on here? IT'S NOT EVEN RELATED TO ISU. I was just curious on what people thought. A simple, "oh it seemed like they were fair" would have been fine.

I should have just made a poll, that would say: A) Agree or B) Disagree.

That would have made things easier for everyone, as people can't understand my "point."

You could see a Kansas player punch DG and since they were #1 that would be well deserved.

You guys have an obsession for Kansas, "their #1", "their the best", "they could have beat us with their 3rd string." So? They played a great game. Move on!

Most of the people's posts are agreeing with me that, they called it favoring Kansas. That was why I posted, but people are attacking it because, they believe that its okay to call the game unfair because it's the #1 team. Thats NOT my POINT!!!

I thought the play-by-play was fine. The one thing is the color guy called Ejim "Marvin E-Jim." It was at least the second time he pronounced Ejim's last name wrong. We have 7 players that play, and he acts as though he was reading the name off a cue card for the first time (maybe he was). That's a pet peeve.. I think it's a lack of professionalism and ranks right up with calling us the Iowa State Hawkeyes.

I think they forgot that they weren't working for the KU television network. They are supposed to announce, not lead cheers.

I imagine that you wouldn't have much of a problem with it if we had smoked KU and they had described our win as such.

I agree in general with you, but this is what we get for being the laughing stock of the conference. Some day it might get better. Some day.

The only thing that really bugged me is how much they kept talking about "brothers" and "twins".

I tell you if the one guy said "And I think there's really only one other set of twins that could possibly be in the conversation.." Just ******* tell us who you're talking about it! He honestly teased that for like 10 minutes.

They did not call the game unfair. They told it like it was. Team X crushed Team Y, and they conveyed that as that is what happened.

Mitch Holtus is the best in the business in my opinion. He's also a damn good play by play announcer for the chiefs. I'm not even a chiefs fan.

Mitch is very good at football play by play.
Basketball play by play - not so much.
