Big 12 Preseason Poll

Can't really argue too much with any of this. Tech might be a little low, but they lost 2 studs. Iowa State isn't proven but there is talent there.
All I care about and all I take out of all these pre-season polls is that everyone thinks we’re going to be in the tournament. That’s all that matters this year.
My '18-'19 Picks:

Is this your list, or what was in the OP? Either way, I think the above list has TCU undervalued and Texas and KState potentially overvalued.

Obligatory "Texas is going to be good because they're Texas" polling.
Probably not. They don't like one another, and Weber is particularly that way with Self.
I'm thinking we finish in the 3rd or 4th spot.

There's a Mailbag article on The Athletic, by CJ Moore, and someone asked him what he thought his ceiling for the Cyclones was this year. And he really had nothing but good things to say.
Some positive snippets without giving it all away
- Thinks they can finish as high as 3rd
- Thinks we might be the deepest team in the conference outside of KU
- Thinks a Tourney Birth should be expected

You missed the joke. Every year Bill Self - just like every other coach - can't vote for his own team so he has to choose another #1. Every year in a thread like this someone asks why the hell did someone pick anyone other than KU because Kansas only received 9 first place votes.
Except this year.
It has been a looooong learning curve, but I think we've made it!
I think the ranking looks close. I'd go:
