See how it plays out but if everyone is always picking a team playing at home then it might make sense to add a rule about picking road wins as well.

Tiebreaker rules give bonuses for road wins.

I see people picking one of the games midweek. I read this as you pick the Saturday winner and if that team wins you automatically get that team for midweek for the bonus point, but it wouldn't hurt you if they lose midweek.

It actually states that you have to make your selection prior to the first game being played. It doesn't state that you have to select the first game to get the bonus point.
