Downey wins! Did he get at takedown as time expired? It looks like he got a stalling point then a last minute takedown?

Downey wins 4-1 over #1 seed Smith at 97! Not sure what happened, as just watching stick figures on FloArena, but it was tied 1-1 with under 10 seconds. Looked like Downey may have picked up a stalling and then desperation TD. Anyone watching that can fill in the blanks?

I'm wondering the same. That seems like it makes the most sense, but not sure.

Stall call put him up by 1 and then smith tried to go desperation throw backfired on him and Downey won

Decent first round. Huge win for Downey. Need to get a couple more wins tonight. Larson is in a better spot with his loss than he would have been with a win.

With Moisey out Larson vs. Gillette in the consolations tonight is for a trip to New York. If he'd won this morning he'd have to get two wins (including Templeman from Wyoming) so that loss was the best outcome. Needs to turn it around tonight though. Gillette beat Read from UNC 18-1 this morning and then got pinned in the first period by Klimara in the quarters.
