Wes. Coach Mac literally brought him up from basically nothing. Pretty much no one at this level had interest in him at all. Wes repaid him by kicking Mac in the junk, along with the rest of us.

Both. They were both too afraid to announce their decisions to McDermott themselves.

Frankly, a no-brainer for me (voted for Weasel). There was never any indication that HB was guaranteed to by a Cyclone, even though we all wanted him to commit to us. On the other hand, WJ comes out of left field two months after the season was done, after renewing his scholarship, and tells us all that he wants out. I don't think that McD had concrete plans for HB for next season. He did have concrete plans to base the offense around WJ.

Wesley, and its not even close.

Its comparing being dumped by a supermodel, vs. talking to one.

HB and it's not close. The impact HB coming to ISU would of changed the face of not just mbb but the entire ISU athletic dept.

The same could be said about Hinrich, Collison, etc. Might as well thrown in all the other top notch recruits that have turned us down.

Heck, there was a rumor that Kevin Garnett might of been ISU bound had he not jumped to the NBA.

No this was different. Those guys weren't the NUMBER 1 player in the country and in ISU's backyard with ISU connections surrounding them.

Weasley definitely, no one can blame HB, I can totally blame WJ for not thinking Iowa State was good enough for him, when it's great for Brackins and he's better too.

A different one would be this: Bigger kick in the nuts? HB choosing UNC or FB team losing to a crappy Colorado team at home?
