Well the D will be better without him. Just need our shooters to show up and keep the defense spread out. UNC isn't some juggernaut they're basically Baylor good this year.

Hoiberg and his assistants burning the midnight oil (even more than they already do) and watching a whole LOT of gametape of both us (our bench/role players) and UNC film.

Find a mismatch. Exploit. Find another mismatch. Exploit. Find our weakness, help cover and minimize it.

I am imagine old Roy and his staff are probably doing the same for his team. Even with losing Niang, I am not sure I would want to face such uncertainty against someone who wants to exploit mismatches.

UNC doesn't come close to NC Central as far shooting the ball, any other facets of the game are all the other way.

I think Daniel starts and Kane plays as a point 4. (in other words Georges role)

I'm actually not that worried about UNC as long as Naz can put the lock down defensively on Paige.

I don't think we will want Kane guarding Paige because we are going to need Kane on offense and guarding Paige will take a lot out of you IMO.

The only thing I'm scared of is UNC just dominating us on the offensive boards, but I think Edozie will fight in there a lot more than Niang would have.

Roy and his staff are probably just getting in from the casino, so they are probably getting started on their film about now.

One player that gets hot on a team in the NCAA's can take a team deep into the tourney, Ex. Stephen Curry, Davidson. We have guys that are capable of rising up - Naz, Thomas, Monte. Defend respectably and score the damn basketball and we'll still be in contention for the Elite 8/Final Four.

Need good officials that don't call it too close and let them play (I'll take last night's officials). We'll be in big trouble if we get officials calling a tight game. I have confidence that Hoiberg will put together a gameplan that will win, but it will only involve 6 players and there won't be much for alternate plans if things aren't working so if guys get in foul trouble early we'll probably be in trouble.

We're kind of one-dimensional now (Kane). Just like UNC (Paige). We can still see the Sweet 16 after all these years.

I was looking for the likes of SDW, Matt Thomas Daniel Edozie, or even Percy to step up their game a notch next season.

That time is now.

I'm confident that Fred will find a way to score and Doc will draw up a good game plan on defense. We are going to need to double down on posts and hope they don't start hitting from three. Oh yeah, and rebounding is important, what a concept.
