Johnny came to ISU the same year I did as a student. I remember my friends and I waiting at the doors of Hilton with our backpacks so we could run in and get seats behind the bench. We would sit and study and wait for a couple hours before the team and Johnny would come out.

This should be sent to the DMR. Unbelievable job, Blum.

Yes, can this get printed in the DMR?? All for it. It's a must. RP won't be able to capture the same feelings like this short, but to the point tribute.

Thanks Brent. Your heartfelt tribute has put into words what Cyclone Nation is feeling right now. Will be a special game in Hilton tonight as tears mix with smiles remembering Johnny.

"Everyone has a favorite Johnny moment and all bring a smile to the face. College athletics is full of farces and frauds, but Orr was raw; he was real. He was one of those special characters who seemed infallible; a guy who was supposed to be around forever."

This.
