You just don't replace the knowledge of the rules that @brentblum brings to the table. I'm pretty sure Mike Preira has him on speed dial for call reviews.
Yeah, I now expect Blum to be live tweeting full explanations of every review so I know my booing and complaints of the refs are legitimate
I'll still be around doing CF stuff and hopefully ESPN+ stuff for basketball. But just going to be a "fan" for Football Saturday's.

It was a publicity stunt. He told no one he was gonna just stand there like he was having an absent seizure, if I remember right, to get people to talk about him and what the hell was wrong with him. It worked.
He's actually been pretty vocal at how long he's been sober and that he's clean eater.
He's apparently not very comfortable in those type of situations. He did a similar thing during one of the New Year's celebrations recently.
I like Dave Sprau, but I didn't expect Brent Blum to retire before Eric Heft!
