Mineo is close will Bo's dad and Mineo hates Iowa and basically said the same . He wanted to be in Iowa city training this summer and that's illegal. He can only come in for a camp. He also doesn't have a vehicle and HS kids at other programs do. Iowa isn't paying HS kids and others are.Bo decided he wanted to be at Iowa and his dad ruined it. I could be mistaken, but I believe the $5m for Bassett was rumored to be the total package over four years, i.e. $1.25m average per year. Still a lot, but a lot less than $5m per year.
Even if it's $1.25m, it's wild to me that there's that much money in wrestling.
