I'm actually hoping that we drop to Armed Forces bowl just because Texas bowl on the 4th is absurd, and I'm not going back to Memphis.

I remember going to that game. That was one of the worst feelings I've ever had at a sporting event. I can't remember ever feeling lower than that day.
It was my first ever game at Jack Trice. No better way to prepare yourself for a lifetime of being a Cyclone fan.

Really doubt we go to any bowl game this year. Wife is starting a new job Dec 1 in the corporate world from being self employed. She wants to focus on her new career first.

It will be a shame to have to give up my $100/night rooms on the Riverwalk in San Antonio if we don't make it. :(

dude... my Monday was going alright.... why, for the name of everything that is good and decent in this world ....

did you have to bring up that UConn game? I feel like I need to puke all over again. I didn't know nasuea had that long a shelf life but thank you for helping me to realize that it does.........

but in all seriousness, no, this team has not quit. And I think these seniors have too much pride in themselves,, this program and what they have done to quit now.

How about Ok-State Destroys the Sooners this week--

Big12 then tells the (SEC bound) Sooners to kick rocks

OSU- CFP
Baylor-Sugar
ISU- Alamo
KState- Orlando
Tech- Texas
Sooners- Detroit bowl.....

While this will never happen because they Big 12 essentially gives all power to bowl committees who won't want to pass on OU, it is actually the correct answer. If they aren't getting into CFP, OU provides no value to the conference at this point in bowl season. Any benefit OU brings from a viewership, etc. standpoint is just a benefit to the SEC someday.

The real question is how many of these players that believe they will be drafted will even play in the bowl game? I can see Hall, Rose, Kolar, even possibly Purdy sitting it out. Nothing to gain and everything to lose!

K-State at Texas is big for our bowl position. If KSU wins they’ll probably get picked ahead of us. If Texas wins, probably not.

Best case scenario is Texas wins that game, then both OSU and BU go to the NY6. Oklahoma goes to Alamo, and we go back to Orlando against the Pitt-Wake Forest ACC CCG loser.

Does it have a UCONN '02 feel to you at all? It doesn't to me fwiw.
I think it’s quite possible. It would be understandable for some of the players to lose focus this week. That can come naturally with a team that is 6-5 with 1 game left after starting the year 7th in the country.

You’re safe to cancel. Even if we win Friday, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Baylor are for sure ahead of us in the bowl pecking order.

Last game in JTS for the best class in ISU history. I doubt the leadership on this team allows guys to lose focus.
